I did - and I am Michele O'Mara.  I am approaching my tenth year together with my partner, Teresa, with whom I am raising our twin sons, Mitchell and Cameron. 

I am also a mental health therapist, specializing in work with GLBT folks - and I have been for over a decade now.  As you might imagine, I've met a lesbian or two over the years, and the single most common frustration that all lesbians share with me is their difficulty, and frustration, they experience when trying to meet new friends, or find women to whom they are attracted.  This site is designed for both.  Therefore, it's not a dating site, and it's not a friendship-only site - it's an All-Things-Lesbian site. 

Through the years, I have met so many amazing women with the same complaint - "I feel so isolated" - and I continue to reassure these women that  they are not alone.  And more than that, my hope is to really demonstrate with this group that there really are other lesbians out there - just like you.
