ABOUT MICHELE

It was 1993 when I conducted my first intensive couple's weekend in Saugatuck, Michigan!  It's fitting and fun, that I am returning 16 years later - having learned so much, and experienced so much, both professionally, and personally!

In the past decade I have pursued my Certification in Imago Relationship Therapy and I have worked with hundreds of lesbian couples. I have created and conducted dozens of relationship workshops and classes each year, and I have written a couple of books regarding same-sex relationships.

The truth be told, when you work with me, it's not my credentials that I hope you see... what I hope you come to discover is my insatiable curiosity about love and relationships, my genuine interest in how fulfilled you are in love and life, and how I absolutely delight in seeing partners connecting.

My motto is, When Love is Good, Life is Good.

On a personal note, my partner Teresa, and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding Anniversary in July 2010.  We have twin sons, now almost 7 years old, as well as a a dog, cat, fish and a hamster.  Life is good.  For those of you interested in my credentials, here are some of my professional affiliations and certifications that I have pursued since receiving my Master's of Social Work in 1992.

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana (License # 34003162A)
  • Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, Imagotherapy.org
  • Certified by the ACRPS (Accredited Relapse Prevention Specialist)O:P>
